Business Opportunities Between Italy and the U.S.: SCM North America Shares Its Experience
A forum bringing together businesses, institutions and innovation organizations to explore development opportunities between Italy and the United States. This was the focus of a recent visit to Gwinnett County, Georgia, by a delegation from Italy’s Liguria region, which included SCM North America, sharing the experience of an Italian company with an established presence in the U.S. market.
The visit was organized by the Gwinnett Chamber and Partnership Gwinnett to foster new connections between the Italian and U.S. business communities and showcase Gwinnett County as an attractive location for companies looking to enter the U.S. market or expand their presence across North America.
As part of the visit, SCM North America, represented by Luca Maggiani, VP After Sales, shared its firsthand perspective with the Italian delegation on the opportunities and dynamics involved in international growth.
The delegation also met with several key organizations within the local innovation ecosystem, including Atlanta Tech Park, The Water Tower and Curiosity Lab. The meetings provided an opportunity to explore topics including technology and innovation, investment, business development and international collaboration.
With nearly 500 international companies, including 25 Italian businesses, Gwinnett County has become an important hub for companies looking to access the U.S. and North American markets. A strong network of businesses, institutions and organizations focused on innovation and economic development helps create an environment that supports new investments and international growth.
For SCM, participating in the initiative was an opportunity to share the experience of an Italian Group that has established a direct presence and strong local connections in the United States.
