SCM’s new Accord 500 Edge awarded at IWF 2026

SCM closes its participation in IWF 2026 with highly positive results. For the Italian Group, the event represented an important opportunity to meet with customers, partners and professionals from the woodworking industry, confirming strong interest in its technological and digital solutions and generating significant order volume and new business opportunities with leading companies across the North American market.

The new Accord 500 Edge CNC machining center added further value to SCM’s participation by winning the IWF 2026 Challengers Distinguished Achievement Award.

The SCM solution earned recognition among 84 entries submitted by 65 exhibiting companies for its contribution to technological innovation in the woodworking industry.
The award highlights the ability of the Accord 500 Edge to combine advanced routing, drilling and edgebanding operations in a single machine, delivering a high level of production flexibility. SCM developed the new solution to meet the demand for increasingly customized, fast and integrated production processes, both in the furniture industry and in solid wood applications.
